How to Create a Marriage Biodata

A step-by-step guide with filled examples. Takes about 5 minutes. No signup, completely free — download as PDF when done.

Step 1
Open BiodataKit and choose a template
Go to nxtcraft.github.io/biodatakit. You'll see 3 template options at the top of the form:
  • Classic — Traditional layout with bordered header. Best for conservative/traditional families.
  • Modern — Two-column layout with a coloured header band. Looks professional and polished.
  • Simple — Clean table-based format. Works well for printing on any printer.
💡 Tip: When in doubt, choose Classic — it's the most universally accepted format across all regions and communities in India.
Step 2
Upload your photo
Click the round photo circle on the form. Select a photo from your device. Your photo is only stored in your browser tab — it is never uploaded to any server.
💡 Best photo tips: Recent photo (last 6 months) · Wear formal or semi-formal clothes · Plain background · Natural expression · No sunglasses or heavy filters

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data saved on BiodataKit's servers?

No. Your data never leaves your browser tab. BiodataKit has no server — it's a static website. Your photo, personal details, and family information are only in your browser's memory while the tab is open. When you close the tab, everything is cleared.

Can I edit the biodata and re-download?

Yes — just keep the tab open and update any field. The preview updates instantly. You can download as PDF as many times as you want with different details. If you accidentally close the tab, you'll need to fill in the form again (the data is not stored).

What size should the photo be?

There's no strict size limit. The tool automatically resizes your photo to fit the allocated space. A photo of at least 300×400 pixels will look sharp in the PDF. Very small photos may look blurry — use the clearest photo available.

Can I share this biodata on Shaadi.com or Jeevansathi?

This tool creates a PDF document for direct sharing (WhatsApp, email, print). Matrimonial websites require you to create an account and fill their online form — they don't accept PDF uploads directly. However, many families share the PDF biodata alongside their online profile when seriously interested.
